Samsung’s introduced Z Flip4 was another proven record to the public that the company is an unmatchable rival when it comes to innovative ideas and concepts. Yet the newly released collaboration campaign between Samsung and Maison Margiela only doubled the gap among other brands, remaining them unbridged.
Two powerhouse brands of technology and fashion have teamed up for the first time to create something absolutely spectacular and they did not disappoint.
Starting from the phone itself to its UX, covers, and packaging were modified to fit Maison Margiela’s authentic design philosophy. A matte chrome frame and white glass on both the front and back give the product its sophisticated appearance. In the construction of the glass panels, the traditional decortiqué technique was applied, which is a decorative method where the object's exterior layers are peeled so that its essential structure is revealed. In this instance, the internal phone circuitry is exposed by the translucent contours.

Alongside the foldable device, the package will also consist of two phone covers. Each of them carries the recognizable set of stitches that became a well-known trademark of the french label. One of the casings is made of leather and mimics the marble surface, while the other includes a ring with a definable numeric code.

The phone's improved functionality and unique look were the designers' main priorities, says the Samsung representatives, and the phrase "Style that reflects your personality" is now one of the slogans used to advertise devices. Undoubtedly, it makes the entire campaign coveted when the marketing methods are fundamentally perfected.
The price for the latest South Korean-French couture model has not been disclosed yet, either the produced amount of the item. Nevertheless, we can already predict it to be in high demand.
